Date and Time

Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 9:15pm - 11:00pm

Description

If conditions allow, we'll take a look through telecopes at some of the key features of the spring sky.

Hear legends and myths surrounding several familiar and not so familiar constellations. Learn about park history, current use, and the importance of dark night skies.

Telescopes will be available from roughly 10 PM onward. Availability is subject to staff/volunteer availability, weather conditions, and crowd size limitations.

Registration encouraged, but not required. Should we need to cancel or modify a program due to weather, etc., we will email all registered participants. Optional registration will open 45 days before the program.
