Description

As spring fades and summer comes closer, the candy-colored visitors from the tropics are filling up on juicy insects and seeds and raising their young. Winter migrants are still away on their northern visits, while the year-round residents are busy taking care of hungry teenagers. Take a guided walk with a ranger alongside meadow and forest to find out who is out and about!

Bring plenty of water and binoculars if you have them. If not, we do have a few pairs that can be borrowed. See attached file for a bird checklist to print at home. The walk will be up to one mile at an easy pace on easy to moderate terrain. The trail can be muddy at times, so dress accordingly.
