Abril is a C-StREAM Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice intern at the Chesapeake Bay Program, originally from Belleville, Illinois. She is a rising third year at Florida State University where she is majoring in Environmental Science and Policy with minors in Urban and Regional Planning and Social Welfare. Abril aspires to make tangible changes in the life of minorities facing environmental injustice through advocacy work.
