August Goldfischer

August (they/them) is employed by the Chesapeake Research Consortium and works within the Chesapeake Bay Program as a Staffer for the Scientific, Technical Assessment and Reporting (STAR) team. August provides administrative support for STAR and some of STAR’s workgroups: the Nontidal Network Workgroup, the Bay Oxygen Research Group, the Hypoxia Collaborative Team, the Data Integrity Workgroup and the Criteria Assessment Protocol Workgroup. August received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Pennsylvania and is interested in water quality monitoring, community science and climate justice. They live in Baltimore and enjoy biking, hiking and reading.
