Emily Young

Emily is employed by the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin (ICPRB) and serves as the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Habitat and Living Resources Data Manager. She manages the living resources datasets that are maintained in the CBP CEDR (Chesapeake Environmental Data Repository) database. Emily was a 2023 John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellow, and holds a PhD in biological oceanography from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and a master’s degree in marine biology from the University of Southampton, UK.
