Gabriel Duran joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium in July 2024 as an Environmental Management Staffer for the Scientific, Technical Assessment, and Reporting (STAR) team. In this position, Gabriel supports the Modeling Workgroup, the Integrated Trends Analysis Team, the Status and Trends Workgroup, and the Nontidal Network Workgroup. He assists these teams with coordination, communication and tracking of the team’s goals. Gabriel completed his Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
