Caroline Kleis
Caroline joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium in May of 2024 as a Staffer to the Water Quality Goal Implementation Team. In this role, she supports the Agriculture Workgroup, Agricultural Modeling Team, Conowingo WIP Steering Committee, Land Use Workgroup, and the Milestones Workgroup, primarily through administrative and coordination based tasks. She is a 2024 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Public Policy and a minor in Economics. Prior to her time at the CRC, Caroline held research assistantships in the Environmental Studies, Public Policy, and Business Departments at F&M, examined food insecurity in cities through internship and farmbased volunteer work, and served as a research and teaching assistant at the Environmental Science Summer Research Experience for Young Women (ESSRE), in Baltimore.
