Meredith Lemke (they/them) joined the Chesapeake Research Consortium in 2024, as staff to the Fostering Chesapeake Stewardship Goal Implementation Team. As a staffer, Meredith supports the Diversity, Education, and Stewardship workgroups in their efforts to achieve the Stewardship and Environmental Literacy Goals of the 2014 Watershed Agreement. Meredith graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2023 with a double major in International Relations and Environmental Policy. Meredith's passions for conservation and environmental justice grew at William & Mary through their work as a GIS research assistant with the Institute for Integrative Conservation and a sustainability ambassador with the Cohen Career Center. As a Virginia native, Meredith is overjoyed to achieve their childhood dream of working to protect the Chesapeake Bay watershed
